Darrell and Heather are the proprietors and operators of the Melissa Barn. Growing up Darrell had a passion for horses and dreamed of operating his own horse farm. A real estate venture led him to the property that is now the Melissa Barn at HD Ranch.
Within six months, Darrell had fulfilled his dream. The HD Ranch was a fully functional equestrian facility up until 2013. Now Darrell is using the property to pursue a new dream of offering a perfectly balanced elegant yet rustic venue for events and weddings.
Darrell and his wife are both real estate professionals and have managed the Melissa Barn property for nearly twenty years.

FACILITIES AND CAPACITY
This venue’s flexible event spaces allow couples to bring their dream weddings to life, whether their vision includes a casual gathering or a glamorous affair. To-be-weds may opt to say “I do” al fresco style with the use of the private outdoor ceremony site. The area features a 50-foot crushed-granite walkway lined with trees that passes over a bridge and through cedar gates, leading to a charming covered altar. After the vows, the newlyweds and their loved ones can head indoors to the barn, which can accommodate up to 120 people. The barn is filled with rustic elegance, boasting a stone and cedar exterior that provides a memorable backdrop for photos. Its interior is made up of an expansive stone fireplace, 100-year-old wood, Oklahoma chopped stacked stone, and polished concrete floors. In addition, it houses restrooms, a bar, and a prep kitchen for catering convenience. Guests will also enjoy stepping out into the covered outdoor areas to get some fresh air while taking in the scenic views.
SERVICES OFFERED
The Melissa Barn at HD Ranch offers an ideal setting for a range of wedding-related events, such as engagement parties, showers, elopements, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. Couples may choose from a selection of wedding packages, designed to accommodate numerous needs and budgets. For the convenience of clients and their guests alike, the venue has more than 75 parking spots available on the property, along with extra room for overflow. In addition, the ranch can provide getting-ready rooms, tables, chairs, benches, three golf carts, six whiskey barrels, wireless internet, and other items and services.
ACCOMODATION
After a day full of celebrating, you’ll appreciate being able to enjoy HD Ranch’s onsite lodging options for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. With the house and the guest house, the venue can sleep up to 12 people. Fully furnished, the house features two and a half bathrooms, a pool, a cabana, a patio, a 70-inch television, a game room, and more.
